Dematic, a global leader in intelligent automation, will participate for the first time in the SAPICS Conference and Exhibition from 8 to 11 June at the Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town. The company will exhibit alongside its longstanding South African partner, Apex-RTS, marking a renewed focus on the region and a strategic push to expand the reach of advanced warehouse automation across South Africa.

As a silver sponsor of Africa’s leading supply chain event, Dematic is strengthening its local engagement through a co-branded stand with Apex-RTS. The event provides a platform for both companies to showcase their combined capabilities, educate the market on the value of automation, and connect with businesses looking to improve supply chain performance.

“Dematic is proud to deepen our long-standing partnership with Apex-RTS, which has been delivering our warehouse software solutions in South Africa for nearly two decades,” said Michael Bradshaw, Vice President of Solutions Development at Dematic. “As Apex has grown its expertise in systems design, service and support, our collaboration allows us to deliver intelligent automation solutions tailored to the South African market. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to innovation, quality and helping customers confidently embark on automation projects.”

Dematic and Apex-RTS are aligned in their mission to provide South African businesses with access to flexible and scalable solutions that improve efficiency, resilience and competitiveness. The companies offer a comprehensive range of technologies, including automated storage systems, order fulfilment solutions, and software-driven warehouse optimisation.

“Together with Dematic, we’re working to bring next-generation automation technology to businesses across the region,” said Alan Richard, Director at Apex-RTS. “This partnership is about understanding our customers' unique challenges and delivering solutions that create real operational value. SAPICS is an ideal venue to connect with forward-thinking supply chain professionals looking for smarter, more effective ways to grow.”

The renewed focus on South Africa also includes plans for joint market initiatives, access to consulting services, solution design and local implementation, all supported by Apex’s strong local customer service capabilities. This ensures customers can plan, deploy and scale systems that align with their business needs and long-term supply chain goals.

Attendees of SAPICS 2025 are invited to visit the Dematic and Apex-RTS stand (Stand S15) to learn how integrated automation solutions can streamline operations, reduce costs and position businesses for long-term success.
